The reporter learned that the platform was jointly built by Xinjiang mobile Urumqi marketing service center and Urumqi urban public lighting management center to maintain, monitor and manage the city's road lighting facilities through the application of mobile communication network.

According to the relevant staff of Xinjiang mobile Urumqi marketing service center, the platform manages 86% of the road lighting facilities in Urumqi through a unified public lighting information remote management center. It not only monitors the early and evening operation of road lighting facilities in Urumqi's East Outer Ring Road, West Outer Ring Road, Hetan Expressway and 48 main roads in the city, but also controls the operation of night lighting systems of landmark buildings such as Xinjiang International Bazaar, Urumqi people's Square and West Bridge.

"Once the lighting facilities fail, it can be quickly monitored on the management center platform." The staff member said that this not only effectively improved the operation efficiency of Urumqi digital lighting management center, but also provided security for Urumqi's lighting facilities.
